Merino wool:
  • We advice you to hand wash your merino wool items, as they are a natural product and there is a risk of shrinking or even destroying the items if you are not careful. We have chosen the highest class natural wool, as it is the best for the babies delicate skin, so it should be washed by hand.
  • It’s best to hand wash in your bathroom’s sink. The volume of the blanket allows this to be done easily. Wash with Luke warm water. Fill the sink, add a wool or baby shampoo and then put the blanket. Don’t rub it too hard, just push it a few times and that’s enough. Rinse gently with lukewarm water. We have to be gentle with wool, like when we wash our hair.
  • The wool blanket does not need to be washed too often, just ventilate the blanket in fresh air. Wool is a self-cleaning material. Its surface rejects dirt, as well as bad odors etc, which might be harmful to the baby. Airing in most cases is absolutely enough.
  • Wash with a suitable wool detergent or shampoo.
