DO NOT wash in a washing machine. Washing is not recommended for the maintenance of a wool pillow. This is not necessary, due to the special property of wool to be self-cleaning. It does not retain bad odors, does not develop mites and mold. It is enough to air it out or leave it in the sun from time to time, just to freshen it up. If the cotton fabric (cover) gets dirty in a certain place, you can wet it locally, clean and dry it (for example with a hairdryer), and then distribute the wool evenly again.
